2007 NFLCC National Show
Louisville, Kentucky
July 12-14, 2007
This is the fifth time the National show has been held in Louisville,
Kentucky. There were over 600 tables at the show and nearly 550 rooms at
the Executive West Hotel, many filled with fishing lures and tackle.
In room trading started as early as
Sunday this year and picked up pace during the week. There were approximately
200 rooms open at various times
during in-room trading!
Show set-up started at 7:30 a.m. on
Thursday. The show room floor was full of nice tackle and collectibles and
there were a lot of high quality displays this year. The annual meeting
was held Friday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Bill McVeigh was
re-elected as the President of the NFLCC for another two-year term.
Club members also approved a committee to begin drafting major revisions to the
Bylaws and Standing Rules. Club members will be apprised of the
effort in upcoming Gazettes and revised Bylaws will be presented to the
membership in 2008 for action.
A very special thank you to show hosts Matt and Robin Wickham and the many
volunteers that make this annual event so enjoyable. Below are
