Show Dates, Times and Registration
The 2nd Annual Rochester Fishing Tackle Show and Swap Meet
will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the Ramada Hotel & Conference Center,
1517 16th Street SW, Rochester, MN. Room trading on Thursday and
Friday. Show hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Show set-up opens at
7:00 a.m.
The show will be heavily advertised and is open to the public. We will hold
silent auctions on the day of the show.
We have two display rooms at the hotel (the Royale Ballroom and
the Grand Ballroom). Both are approximately the same size (each will hold
50+ tables) and will have entrances right across from one another for traffic
flow between the rooms. The registration table will be located at the end
of the hall between the rooms. Tables are $25 and include registration.
No limit on tables. Show and tell tables are also available. Registration
without a table is $5. Send payment and make checks payable to show host Marie

Reservations
The show is being held at a new location this year! We
have moved the show to the Ramada Hotel
& Conference Center, 1517 16th Street SW, Rochester, MN.
The hotel has three floors for convenient in-room trading and ample, flat lot
parking. We have reserved a large room block in the three-floor wing of the
hotel. The wing of the hotel only has one elevator, so make your
reservations early if you want to be located on the first floor. The hotel
also features an indoor pool with two-story waterslide and pool-side rooms.
Please note that pool-side rooms open up to the pool area only.
Standard room rate is $79 and includes coffee pot, hairdryer,
and high speed internet. Pool area standard room and non-pool area Family Suite
is $89. All room rates up to 4 persons. Hotel offers a complimentary
continental breakfast and shuttle service and has a full service restaurant and

The hotel does not allow pets and is non-smoking.

Directions and Transportation
Hotel is located off Highway 52. Simply exit at 16th Street
Southwest, take a left and go one block. Take a right onto Greenview
Drive. Hotel is on the right.

Directions From the North on Highway 52:
Follow Highway 52 South into Rochester. Exit at 16th Street Southwest. Take a
left onto 16th Street Southwest and go one block. Take a right onto Greenview
Drive. Hotel is on the right.
From the North on Highway 63:
Follow Highway 63 South into Rochester. Highway 63 turns into Broadway and
runs through downtown Rochester. Continue to the Broadway and 16th Street
Southwest intersection. Turn right onto 16th Street Southwest and follow
approximately two-and-one half miles. Take a right onto Greenview Drive. The
hotel will be on the right side about 1/2 block down.
From the South on Highway 52:
Follow Highway 52 North into Rochester. Exit at 16th Street Southwest. Take a
left onto 16th Street Southwest and go one block. Take a right onto Greenview
Drive. Hotel is on the right.
From the South on Highway 63:
Follow Highway 63 North into Rochester. Exit at Highway 52 North. Follow
Highway 52 North. Exit at 16th Street Southwest. Take a left onto 16th Street
Southwest and go one block. Take a right onto Greenview Drive. Hotel is on the
right.
From the East on Highway 14:
Follow Highway 14 West (Highway 14 turns into County Road 8). Take a left at
Greenview Drive. Hotel is on the right.
From the West on Highway 14:
Follow Highway 14 East to the Highway 52 South Exit. Take Highway 52 South to
the 16th Street Southwest exit. Take a left onto 16th Street Southwest and go
one block. Take a right onto Greenview Drive. Hotel is on the right.
If flying in, hotel is approximately 80 miles southeast of the
Minneapolis-St. Paul airport and 8 miles from the Rochester International
Airport. Visit the

Rochester is serviced by the
Rochester International Airport. Both Northwest Airlines and American
Eagle Airlines fly to/from the Rochester International Airport.
