The 2009 Rochester Minnesota Fishing Tackle Show and Swap meet was a great success again this year.  We had 78 tables of tackle for sale and display.  Attendance by the public was good again this year with many people bringing in items for appraisal and sale in the silent auction.   In-room trading was brisk.  One large collection came to the show which made for some frenzied in-room trading.   Sellers had many quality items at good prices.   Silent auctions ran from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.   Auction proceeds exceeded 2008 and we thank all of the bidders for their support.  Special thanks to Steve O'Hern for collecting tackle for a tackle box sold at auction.  All proceeds went to the club which was wonderful!   We also signed up 8 members for the NFLCC including our first international member from London, England.  She also won the new member door prize!   We had drawings for a free table, a free room night and two great door prizes.  We also raffled off a group of Club Shop merchandise and raised a lot of money for the Club Shop.

Thanks to everyone who attended and made this such a great show!   Special thanks to David, John, Barb, Tim, Mike and others that helped organize and advertise the show again this year.

Show room floor action Silent auctions ran all day from 8:30 to 1:30!  Whew! Vic Bjork was a winner of one of our door prizes.  He sent me this photo titled "Home a Winner" featuring Vic and his dog Eddie! We had collectors come from across the country...George came all the way from Texas and we also had two collectors drive from Sudbury, Ontario!
